Though it can be most easily described as a real-time strategy game, it contains elements of many other game genres, such as god games, management simulations, role-playing games, and even first-person shooters. Developed by Bullfrog Productions under the direction of Peter Molyneux, Dungeon Keeper is a game focused on the creation and upkeep of a vast subterranean dungeon.
